The matcher and self-reflection questionnaires are not AI. They run in your browser using fixed questions and rules. Your answers are not sent to us or to an AI provider. Matching uses only the preferences you choose; questionnaires do not give AI-written interpretations or feed answers into matching.

Counsellors may use a website assistant and a search check to help prepare their websites. These run on a general-purpose AI model from our AI provider, named in the privacy policy. The AI provider processes the requests in the USA. Kyan has switched on zero data retention at our AI provider, checks it at least every five minutes and stops the assistant if it is ever off; the provider does not use counsellors’ requests to train its models. Requests sent in the few minutes before such a check could be kept by our AI provider for up to 30 days under its standard terms. How the AI tools use data and who provides them.

AI can make mistakes. Changes go to a password-protected preview first. The counsellor reviews the changes and approves the website before asking for publication; the search check also requires their explicit approval before the publication request is sent. Kyan reviews the website before publication and makes no further AI changes after that approval.

AI-assisted rewrites and summaries are marked on published websites and the corresponding directory text. Counsellors remain responsible for what their websites say. The registrations, memberships and credentials shown in the directory have been checked by people at Kyan in the last 12 months.

Kyan Practice offers no AI therapy, medical advice or AI assessment of your answers. The directory helps you find and contact an independent professional. Intended purpose · How we order profiles
