Registration checked
"Registration checked" means Kyan looked up this registration in the official register named, on the date shown, and found it current. We check again every 12 months and remove the mark if a registration lapses. It doesn't mean Kyan, the register or any authority recommends this counsellor or vouches for the quality of their work. Registrations can change; the register itself is always the latest source. Something wrong? Tell us
"Membership checked" means Kyan checked the stated membership with the named professional association on the date shown. "Credential checked by Kyan" means Kyan checked a professional credential on that date; it is not a registration in a named official register. These checks are repeated every 12 months and the mark is removed if the credential or membership is no longer current. Neither mark is an endorsement or an assessment of the quality of care.
The badge states the register and date of the particular check. In Switzerland, sources include PsyReg, MedReg and the federal OKP authorisation list, as applicable to the registration shown; the profile links to the source where available. A professional association membership is described as a membership, not as a government licence. We do not use regulator logos.
This is not an assessment of the quality of care; Kyan is not a regulator. The check does not verify every statement on a profile. Languages, focus areas, practical details and accepting-new-clients status come from the counsellor. The status must be confirmed every 60 days or we stop displaying it.
For a concern about professional conduct, you can contact the relevant professional body or supervisory authority named in the counsellor's registration. Use Report content for a problem with information on Kyan Practice.
