What you get
What a private practice needs to be found, booked and run, set up for you and free for at least the first year, with no payment details and no per-lead fees. Video sessions will be an optional extra, priced by use, with an allowance included in the first year.

Drafted from your profile in one of five designs, in the languages you consult in (from 24 website languages), and hosted by Kyan at your own address.

A place in the Kyan Practice directory, in five languages, once you meet the listing rules, including Kyan’s credential check. Nobody pays to be shown first.

Clients choose a free time and send you a booking request. Connect your calendar, and times you are busy are never offered.
An AI editor
Ask the Studio in your own words for a new sentence, a new section or a different order. You review every change, and nothing goes live until you say so.

Go live
Websites can go live for practices in any country. To go live, accept the terms and check your legal notice, privacy notice and local crisis information. Everything else, such as a photo, fees, your calendar or your own domain, is optional and can come later.

Privacy and security, in plain words

Stored in Switzerland
Your practice’s database, files and server functions are in Zurich, on Google Cloud. Pages reach visitors through Google’s worldwide network, so they load quickly everywhere.
Encrypted
Every page and connection uses HTTPS, and stored data is encrypted. Session notes are encrypted with keys held in Switzerland, so Kyan staff can’t open them.
Never sold
Kyan doesn’t sell personal data or use it for advertising, and your clients’ data is never used to train AI models.
You stay in charge
For your clients’ data you are in charge. Kyan processes it only on your behalf, under the data processing terms that are part of your contract, and under Swiss and European data protection law.

What does it cost?
Kyan Practice is free for at least the first year, and we don’t ask for any payment details.
Video sessions and AI note drafts are the exception: when they open, you choose whether to use them, and they are priced by use, with an allowance included in the first year.
Where can my website go live?
In any country. Your website includes a legal notice, a privacy notice and crisis information for the country of your practice. Check your practice details and any local legal requirements before going live. The directory welcomes practices from all countries that meet the listing rules of the Kyan Practice Terms (clause 8A), including Kyan’s credential check.
Which tools can I use today?
Your website, booking requests, the calendar connection and the AI editor are available now, and a directory listing once you meet the listing rules. The practice workspace, with your schedule, reminders, client records and notes, is built in and opens to invited counsellors step by step. Video sessions and AI note drafts will be optional extras in it, priced by use, with an allowance included in the first year.
Will Kyan send me clients?
We can’t promise clients. Your website and a directory listing help people find you and ask for a session. As a Kyan network counsellor you can also be matched with clients by Kyan Health, under a separate agreement.
Do I keep my own clients and rates?
Yes. You set your own fees, and they appear on your website only once you have confirmed them. Your clients pay you directly, Kyan takes no commission on those payments, and your clients stay yours.
Which credentials does Kyan check?
Kyan checks your registration, membership or credential in a public register or in the documents you give us, and shows the date of the check. A check doesn’t rate the quality of your work.
A listing is available to practices in any country. It needs your choice to be listed (the switch is on unless you switch it off), a listing that isn’t suspended, and a registration, membership or credential checked by Kyan in the last 12 months. In addition, either your Kyan Practice website is live and you have accepted the current Kyan Practice Terms (including clause 8A), or you are an active counsellor of the Kyan Health network and not employed by Kyan: Kyan may then list you as described in its privacy policy, also before your website is live.
Which languages are supported?
Websites come in 24 languages, and yours comes in each of them that you consult in. The directory is in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. The Studio, where you set up your website, is in English for now.
Where is my data kept?
Your practice’s database, files and server functions are in Zurich, Switzerland, on Google Cloud. Your published pages are delivered through Google’s worldwide network, so they load quickly wherever your clients are.
Can I leave and take my data with me?
Yes. You can end the contract at any time. For 30 days afterwards, you can ask for your content as a structured data file with your photos and files, and we send it within five business days. You own your content.
Do I have to join the Kyan network?
No. Your website and practice tools work on their own. Being matched with clients by Kyan Health is part of a separate agreement with Kyan as a network counsellor. A directory listing needs a live Kyan Practice website and your acceptance of the Kyan Practice Terms (including clause 8A); as an active Kyan network counsellor, Kyan may also list you before your website is live, as described in its privacy policy. Network features on your website, such as the network badge, are switched on only with your agreement.
Calendar connection
Counsellors can connect Google Calendar, or another calendar, so that their booking page does not offer times their calendar shows as busy.
- With Google Calendar, Kyan Practice reads only when the counsellor is busy and the list of their calendars, never what their appointments are: no titles, descriptions or attendees. It does not write anything into the calendar.
- With a calendar link (ICS), Kyan Practice downloads the calendar but keeps only the busy times.
- The counsellor chooses which calendars count, and can disconnect at any time in the Studio, also after their website goes live.
- Access tokens are stored encrypted. Kyan staff do not see the counsellor's calendar account or calendar list. Calendar data is never sold, used for advertising, given to AI tools or used to train AI models.
- Kyan Practice's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
