About Erica

People come when their organization is in change: a new product or service, a digital shift, a merger, or an acquisition, and the leaders have to change as well. I help leaders, whether seasoned or emerging, build effective teams, drive change, and secure strategic positions within their organizations.

My coaching starts with your strengths and your challenges. Through thoughtful questions and experiments with incremental changes, I help you increase your self-awareness, build resilience, and develop your team.

I work with mid-career professionals, helping them use their strengths to drive change, develop high-performing teams, and secure strategic positions. I came to coaching after consulting work that included post-merger integrations, selecting enterprise solutions, and redesigning sales processes.

I am known for authenticity, creativity, and irreverence. We set goals, try a designed action, look at what happened, and refine the plan.

How Erica works

The coaching starts by assessing and aligning: where you are now, what success looks like for you, and a path toward it. You then experiment. Designed actions give us real-time insights, we assess the progress, and we refine the strategy. Along the way we challenge limiting beliefs. The changes are incremental, and we keep refining them.

I use thoughtful questioning, and I experiment with incremental changes.

What happens in our first session?

We can begin by looking at your strengths and your challenges. The early work is to evaluate where you are, define the success you want, and chart a path. From there we set clear goals together and turn them into strategies you can act on. We explore what is most important to you and what might be getting in your way. It is a process of discovery, through experimentation, and the steps are incremental. After that I stay with you through check-ins and progress reviews, and we adjust from what the experiments show.

Who do you work with best?

I work with leaders who are seasoned or still emerging. I also work with mid-career professionals. The work is to build an effective team, drive a change, or secure a strategic position in the organization. The organization around them may be launching something new, going through a digital shift, or in a merger or an acquisition. Some are asking whether they are the leader they want to be, or the leader their boss wants. Some are running out of ways to motivate an underperforming employee, or feel that nothing they do is yielding results.

  • Professionals & leaders

What do you bring to your work?

I bring a consultant's background to leadership coaching. In the coaching itself I bring thoughtful questions, actionable feedback, and experiments with incremental change.

What experience do you have?

I am a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. The PCC credential dates to 2022. Before the coaching practice I worked as a consultant on post-merger integrations, enterprise solutions, and sales-process redesign. My experience spans technology, financial services, media, supply chain, and higher education. I moved the focus to leaders because high-quality leadership is the linchpin of successful outcomes.
