“I balance compassion with direct communication to help increase clarity”
Online
Session languages: English, svenska
I balance compassion with direct communication to help increase self-awareness and clarity. Our conversations will challenge limiting beliefs while clarifying what truly matters to you. Together, we'll explore patterns, uncover insights, and create breakthroughs that align with your core values.
People come to coaching to formulate a goal and move toward it, to know themselves better, and to develop both at work and in private life. I care about seeing each person and building on their strengths.
I am present and attentive, and I like to inspire. Coaching is not therapy, supervision, or advice. You have the answers. I am your reflection partner, and we explore together. When we make your thought processes and beliefs conscious, you can see past what blocks you and find your own solution. I follow the core competencies and the ethical guidelines of the International Coaching Federation.
Coaching, as I use it, is a professional conversation with a purpose: to formulate a goal and reach it, to increase self-knowledge, and to develop at work and in private life. I help you find the solution to the challenge in front of you. I listen actively, ask powerful questions, support you, encourage you, and give feedback that strengthens you.
I explore, clarify, and keep the conversation inside what you want to achieve. I encourage self-insight through direct communication. The questions are there so that you reach new insights and your own solutions. I try to create the conditions for you to take responsibility and make progress. You find motivation, and I support you along the way. What you take away is new insight, more self-knowledge, and tools for using knowledge you already have.
The same approach sits inside larger assignments: coaching of managers, groups, and employees, and work on leadership, group development, stress, communication, and feedback.
I work with people who want more self-knowledge and a goal they can move toward, at work or in private life. Managers, employees, and groups all sit in the work. I also work with whole companies, on leadership, group development, the work environment, and organisational change.
The people I do my best work with are ready to look at limiting beliefs and at what actually matters to them. Stress, a complex work situation, a hard decision, communication, and career questions are typical reasons to start.
Since 2016 I have run my own consultancy in Stockholm, with assignments in organisation and leadership, coaching, the work environment and health, and group development. The company is Bodil Henrikson Konsult AB.
Since 2022 I have been an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC). I have a background as a teacher, a manager, and a project leader. My programmes of study are the Magister programme in Work and Health, specialisation Behavioural Science, at Karolinska Institutet; the national principal programme, Rektorsprogrammet, at Stockholms universitet; and the upper-secondary teacher education programme at Uppsala universitet. I have over 200 hours of coach training and over 500 hours of coaching.
