About Maria
People come to me with stress, anxiety, and work-related problems, and with low self-worth and relationship difficulty. My particular focus is PTSD, stress, anxiety, and work-related problems.
I am the founder of Psykologplatformen, and I work on the quality of the courses clients are offered.
I am here so you can pause, reflect, and take a step forward. The work is solution-focused and collaborative, and it is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy. You get a clear goal, and something concrete to work on between sessions.
How Maria works
I work in an evidence-based way, and primarily cognitively. The course needs a direction and a clear goal.
I also work on digital health tools, and on the quality of the courses the platform offers. What you take with you is a goal you can name, and a task you can do before we meet again.
What happens in our first session?
You leave a session with something concrete to work on before the next one. The conversation is by encrypted video.
Who do you work with best?
I offer individual treatment for adults, 18 and over. I do not see children.

I bring a cognitive, evidence-based way of working, and a collaborative pace. I founded Psykologplatformen, and I have a research background with psychiatry on trauma, anxiety, and depression.

I am a clinical psychologist. I am an author of follow-up studies on psychotherapy with trauma-affected refugees, published in 2021 and in 2024.
